Goliath goliath (Linnaeus, 1771) is a species of beetle in the family Scarabaeidae, subfamily Cetoniinae, commonly known as flower chafers. It is one of the largest and most impressive beetles in the world, belonging to the genus Goliathus, which includes some of the heaviest insects known.
